Family Maternity

Welcome!

What is
a doula?

A trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to their client before, during and shortly after childbirth

The word doula comes from the Greek word doulÄ“, the meaning of which translates to helper or servant

Customized Services

All pregnancies are different, and that’s why I work with each client to develop a customized plan for pregnancy, birth and beyond.
While I predominantly serve families in the Medford, Wausau, Minocqua, and Marshfield, Wisconsin areas, I will consider working with families outside of the above areas and in the right circumstances. Virtual services may be an option also.
Take a look at the services I offer, and get in touch with me to schedule a complimentary initial consultation.

Prenatal Support

I offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and step in with anything you might need.

Birth Support

When you go into labor and request my presence, I am with you until after your child is born. Whether that is a few hours or more than a day, you can rest easy knowing you have got non-judgmental support.

Postpartum Support

In the immediate postpartum period, I help get you and your new family settled in. I follow up within a few days. If you are interested in more support, I am training to be a postpartum doula. I am able to assist your family as you further your journey into parenthood.
